JNZL Prize for New Zealand Literary Studies

Deadline: June 30, 2013.  The Journal of New Zealand Literature offers an annual prize for new work in New Zealand Literary Studies.  The Prize for 2013 is now open. The Prize is available to graduate students, and to emerging researchers who have completed their PhDs in the last three years .The Prize is open internationally. The winning essay will be published in the Journal of New Zealand Literature, a fully peer-reviewed scholarly publication. There is also a cash prize. 

Entries will be judged anonymously by majority decision of JNZL's International Advisory Board. The judging panel reserves the right not to award the prize in any given year. Non-winning essays may be considered for publication in the usual way. Entries should be around 5000 words and in MHRA style.
