Rapa Nui, Easter Island
20 November, 2008 - 1 March, 2009
Espace Foundation EDF, Paris
An exhibition presented by EDF Diversiterre Foundation examines Easter Island's fascinating culture through the lens of its patrimony, landscape, and inhabitants. Nearly fifty works, most of which have never been seen by the public, trace the history of the island's populations and shed new light on the island itself through the latest archaeological findings. This exhibition also offers an opportunity to see Rapa Nui wood sculpture from both public and private collections.
