The National Museum of Ethnology calls for proposals for the Dr. Steven Engelsman Grant.
The Dr. Steven Engelsman Grant provides financial support to young scientific talent and wants to boost ethnographic research done on our collections.
Students of the Master of Museum Studies at Leiden University and Research Associates affiliated to Rijksmuseum Volkenkunde, can apply for a Dr. Steven Engelsman Grant.
There are six grants in total: two of € 500, two of € 1,000 and two of € 1,500. For more information see: RMV Steven Engelsman Grant. This year’s application deadline is 21 November 2014.
The National Museum of Ethnology (NME) has a Research Associates Program.The program is created to facilitate and expand research opportunities for scholars, museum professionals and graduate students interested in undertaking research related to the Dutch national ethnographic collections and public programs and to disseminate the results of that research.
