KBC Bank Gent-Burgstraat

B9000 Gent
account No. 736-0017378-79
IBAN Code: BE 58  736 0017378 79
BIC: KREDBEBB

*For PAA-members outside Europe: unfortunately we cannot use the IBAN transfer system. To reduce money lost to bank transfers American PAA-E attendees may mail a check made out to the Pacific Arts Association to Molly Huber, PAA Treasurer, covering their registration fee and (if chosen) lunches.

However, we would like to strongly insist that you indicate on the memo line of the check: PAA-E registration fee and (if chosen) lunches. We absolutely want to avoid unidentified checks; this way of transferring can only be effective when payment for the PAA-E Brussels can be kept separate.

Checks for American PAA-E attendees should be sent to the following address:
Molly Huber, PAA Treasurer
AONA
Minneapolis Institute of Arts
2400 3rd Ave. South
Minneapolis, MN 55404

Please confirm your registration for PAA-E Brussels by e-mailing Pauline van der Zee at Paulina.vanderZee@Ugent.be

Participants of the Pacific, please contact Paulina.vanderZee@Ugent.be

ACCOMMODATIONS

IMPORTANT NOTE
October is high peak season in Brussels. Early hotel reservations are strongly recommended.

Hotels
Hotels in the neighbourhood of the Royal Museums of Art and History are situated about 3 km from the historic city centre. However, the PAA meeting will start in these museums and the coaches to Antwerp and Ghent will leave every morning from its parking lot. Other hotels are situated around the Avenue Louise. Because a lot of events and other symposia take place in the month of October, hotels could be fully booked. We therefore strongly advise you to book your hotel well in advance, since the rates for accommodation are known to rise in due course.

Getting around
The Annual Meeting in Brussels will have a well-lined program, seasoned with a lot of travelling up and down. Not only coach rides to Ghent and Antwerp, but also traversing Brussels itself is needed to get to the places where it all will happen.

Three-days tickets (MIVB) are available for tram, bus and metro for 9,50 euro. These tickets are sold at the distribution networks BOOTIK, KIOSK (express ticket office in 19 metro stations) and GO (ticket machines in every metro station and at the most important stops aboveground).
