Accommodation Information: PAA-E Symposium in Bonn, September 17- 20, 2009
Because of its former role as the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as its present function as a centre of international organizations there is a great number of hotels in Bonn, Bad Godesberg, and its suburbs. We strongly advise to book a room well in advance since the end of the summer is the beginning of a series of festivals in Bonn, including the Beethoven Festival in the first half of September.
On this page you find a list of recommended hotels including price and contact information. If you would like to do your own hotel search you may use the following website to find all information necessary. This will give you a complete list of available hotels within a given price range, also detailed information about the location, amenities, etc.

Hotels in the centre of Bonn, or near the centre:
The following list of hotels is selective, taking into account an easy accessibility of the “Bundeskunsthalle”, and mostly also a preference for the moderate price category, as well as some recommendations by friends and colleagues. Hotels in downtown Bonn or Bad Godesberg are to be preferred because of the underground that brings you in c. 7 minutes from the Central Railway Station to the “Bundeskunsthalle”. (From Bad Godesberg it may take a few minutes longer.) Also, there is a direct connection from the Central Railway Station to St. Augustin (tram lines 66 and 67). Apart from the practical advantages it should not be forgotten that downtown Bonn, or Bad Godesberg are much nicer and livelier places than the former government quarters. All practical information about the public transport system shall be circulated to you in a separate letter.
Hotel prices as given here, though either based on the official websites of the hotels, or on telephone inquiries, may only serve as helpful hints for you when making a choice. They may be subject to seasonal changes, and there may be actual special offers, too. Please, always inquire about the correct seasonal pricing and about special offers when contacting the hotel. All prices include taxes, etc. Weekend prices are valid from Friday to Sunday. Rooms are normally en suite. If otherwise, it shall be stated here.

There is a tram/underground station 200 m from the hotel.
