Anthropology at Australian National University

Anthropology at the Australian National University is a large and thriving graduate program. The combination of teaching and research in anthropology at the ANU, in Canberra, Australia's national capital, is the largest such constellation in Australia. Our excellent academic staff and facilities have earned us a strong national and international reputation. Many of our graduates have achieved distinction in academic and public positions and in consultancy work in Australia and overseas. You can pursue a doctorate or master's degree in socio-cultural or biological anthropology, or a Masters by coursework in Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development (MAAPD).
