12.00 - 14.00 Registration: Individual Visit to the new permanent exhibition on Oceania (open as from 10 AM).
14.00 – 14.45 Lecture Hall: Welcome; Anne Marie Woerlee, Deputy Head Communications Department RMV. General Introduction to New Permanent Exhibits; Dirk Smidt, Curator Oceania RMV. Introduction to the permanent exhibition on Oceania as well as to the temporary exhibition: “Papua lives: meet the Kamoro”
14.45 – 15.15 Jan Pouwer: “Kamoro life and ritual-the central theme of the Kamoro exhibition”
15.15 –15.45 Karen Jacobs: The Kamoro Arts Festival, an event organized annually
15.45 – 16.15 Coffee break
16.15 – 17.45 Viewing of the exhibitions on Oceania as well as on the Kamoro, with both Dirk Smidt, Curator, and Herman de Boer, Head of Exhibitions

13.00 – 14.00 Lunch at the Tropenmuseum
14.00 – 15.15 Final session: New trends in Museum exhibition projects, a tentative evaluation; Further Announcements
16.00 – 18.30 Visit of the private collection of Mr. and Mrs. van Bussel

- your European membership fee for 2003 of € 5.-
- the conference fee of € 10.-
- the dinner fee for Thursday night of app. € 25.-
- the fee for the bus trip to Rotterdam including lunch and dinner, to be announced.
To facilitate the task of our Treasurer, please pay the international membership fee of $US 40.- by credit card or cheque in a separate payment directly to the PAA (International) Treasurer, Hilary Scothorn.
