Nicolas Garnier, keeper for the Pacific collections, is pleased to announce the availability of a position of Curator for the Pacific Collection (with a preference for a specialization on Polynesian collections) at the Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac.

We invite applicants with a strong background in anthropology or art history and with a significant professional experience in international museums.

Knowledge of Pacific vernacular languages is welcome.

June 13-July 14, 2012, Michel Tuffery will show commercially in Australia for the first time in a decade at Andrew Baker Art Dealer in Brisbane Australia. Entitled Siamani Samoa (German Samoa), Michel’s main theme in the exhibition is the German colonial administration of Samoa in the early part of the twentieth century and its ongoing cultural impact.
