Scholarships for Participation at the PAA International Symposium

PAA 14th symposium
The Pacific Arts Association-Europe is offering up to two scholarships to support the participation of Pacific artists, students and scholars at the PAA International Symposium. The scholarship pays for the conference fee and conference dinner plus an award of €400.

Eligibility
Pacific artists, students and scholars who propose a contribution to PAA symposium that is accepted by the conference organisers.

Requirements
– Write a short statement (max. 200 words) explaining why attending the PAA symposium is important for you.
– Propose a paper, report or performance to be presented at the symposium.
– Provide name and details of one external referee.

Applicants should contact their referee directly and ensure the reference is sent to the Scholarship Committee by the closing date.

Applications, including a proposal for a presentation at the conference, should be sent to the Chair of the PAA-E Scholarship Committee, Anita Herle AND the President of the PAA-E, Karen Jacobs by the closing date of 16 February.

Applicants will be informed of the outcome by 28 February.
