Message from the PAA President
Ia’orana and Welcome!
It is such a privilege to welcome you to the Pacific Art Association’s new website! We believe that this new platform better reflects what we do (and what we have done) as an organisation. It will provide information of both upcoming events and historical activities, as well as facilitate communication amongst our members and those interested in the arts of the Pacific.
We anticipate that this website will also act as an archive of our activities; a place where researchers can find information about projects, research, publications, and exhibitions. It will provide access to the past as well as announce possibilities for the future.
It will also be a membership portal, which will hopefully monitor membership and reduce the past complications of keeping one’s membership current. We hope to grow the number of colleagues in our organisation and believe that this platform will assist in achieving this goal.
At a time when the world is a bit off course, when many are working from home and feel, perhaps a bit isolated, we hope that this website will also offer a means of connection; an opportunity to think of colleagues in another place, an opportunity to reconnect.
I invite you to take a peek and investigate what the Pacific Arts Association is about.

President
